And I just read your journal entry about visiting the Brubeck home! Holy crap, you lucky duck!! Very nice.

I saw him perform just once, and also met Danny & Chris at a show they played with Darius (and Perry Robinson on clarinet). Never met Dave, but I’ve listened to and seen videos of him for so many years I almost feel like I knew him.

Did you hear the Terri Gross interview with him where he talks about switching his career choice from veterinarian to musician? Dave is the only cowboy jazz artist I know of!
