Sophomore, 1977: Me & Steely Dan 💖....
I first heard this song in my friends bedroom off the album Aja in 1977. Back then, songs were released off of an album before it was released, or sometimes later. Much later for was the case for Deacon Blues, and so again I enjoyed this song all over again when I was a Junior in High School, only this time on FM radio KLOS, Los Angeles.
During extremely DIFFICULT weeks like THESE, it's wonderful to be able to go back in time when I was much younger and living during a much safer & sane place in time ...
