Every album is great, lyrically, sonically & musically.
I saw them live at The Vic on the tour after the Calm Animals tour. (Was that Ink?)
I bought a Fixx hoody which my wife wore, because if you bought one, you got to stay & meet the band. (I'm not a hoody guy, but I knew my wife would wear it around the house.)
I found out they were playing, last minute. Couldn't get anybody lined up to go & was bummed. My wife said I should just go by myself. So I did.
I get there and a couple guys had a ticket for sale. Their friend was supposed to come but decided to take some overtime at work. They said give us half & the ticket's mine.
I got an open seat at a table with 2 other guys on the raised area just where the dancefloor ended.
I was stage center, with Cy 25 feet in front of me, with everybody in front of me 3 feet lower. Phenomenal seat!
All five guys were as nice as could be. That made me happy!
We covered several of their songs over the years. Saved By Zero, One Thing Leads..., Driven Out, Deeper & Deeper, Red Skies..., Calm Animals, and a few others.
