Loved those guys until Mark bought a distortion unit. His guitar playing lost a lot of its character when that beautiful tone went away.
Yeah, it made him a ton of money, but I thought it musically for the worse.
BTW: My wife and I saw them at The Uptown Theater in Chicago on their tour for the 2nd album.
We had 4th row center seats! 3 Rows & the orchestra pit between me & Mark.
They opened the show with this tune:
