Was disappointed to find out he's an anti-vaxxer.

Besides, this forum is strictly for music appreciation, not for critiquing the artists otherwise.
Unless you know EVERYTHING about your favorite artists, there's a good chance some of them have said or done something you'd find disappointing. (And of course the same could be true of everyone posting here, since we're not perfect)
I appreciate the great music EC has given us. I never thought he was God, but I've always loved his music.

(64,852 posts)I read that he got vaxxed, had a bad case of side effects and was against mandates & vax passports.
I don't agree with his stance on this, but I think he was whining more about people getting forced or coerced to get vaxxed, than against the vax itself.
Through all this, I thought he should have followed Zappa's advice: Shut Up & Play Your Guitar!

But I'm related to too many anti-vaxxers -- people who are both very bright and very generous -- to condemn anti-vaxxers as horrible people, stupid people, selfish people.
I think they're WRONG. I think they are, in most cases, just getting their "facts" from sources that are WRONG (or in some cases having a very unusual reaction to a vaccine and thinking it might be common).
But I don't hate them or refuse to have anything to do with them because we disagree on this.
