I'm looking for a song. I heard it on satellite radio.....

SiriusXM Deep Tracks. For 45 years, I have thought that NO ONE could do "All Along The Watch Tower" better than Jimi Hendrix. Then I heard this one. Hard to say it's better than Hendrix's version, but it's sure damn close! It's done by Melanie (Safka), the chick who did the roller-skate song in the early 70s ("Brand New Key" ).

I cannot find it on the internet--ANYWHERE! YouTube: nada. Can't even find it on her own website, can't find a listing of it on any album she has released. NOWHERE! And Jim Ladd, the SXM DJ, clearly identified her as the artist. I gotta find it--it was one of those rare "knock-your-socks-off, thought-you'd-heard-everything" songs that comes along and puts your jaw on the floor while the rest of your head goes into orbit. It's that good.

If anybody had any ideas/leads to this song, I will gladly pay you a due reward of a dollar-three-eighty-nine, cash!

Another one of those great Detroit bands from the late 1960's and early 70's.
