Those songs were intentionally unrehearsed & typically became extended jams. They were "let's see what happens" songs. Playing 80-85 gigs a year, it was fun to go off script now & then.
I played a Hammond organ sound mostly, but often we'd do a jazz breakdown in the middle & I would switch to piano.

(65,165 posts)I found out the mastering & duplication software I use allows ripping from a DVD to an MP3.
Now, I have to sort through the DVDs to find the 5 tunes I have in mind.
