I think his drumming on Yessongs was terrific.
It created a bigger, edgier feel to the songs, that despite my fandom, was always a criticism of their early studio work.
That album just sound so great because of Alan, & the fact that Howe used Ampeg amps on stage in that era, so the guitar sounds bigger, too.

Exactly the song I was thinking of posting.

Got to see Alan White in a drum clinic in the early 90’s and he was so gracious and humorous and simply amazing behind the kit.
