Music Appreciation
Related: About this forumNever posted here, but enjoy following ma.
I need to regroup and music has always helped with getting my head on. My grandson spends one week end now but with us. At night he and I calm down watching mellow streaming. Last night it was Neil Degrasse Tyson.
In the mornings wake him up to music. This morning it is Playing for Change on you tube. They play many songs of my past by musicians from around the world. Such great voices and all sorts of different instruments.
I will be back in the fight soon, just a much needed recharge.

(49,005 posts)your post here showed up twice, as sometimes happens. If you see that's happened, it's always best to self-delete one of the threads to keep from dividing the responses. I just locked your other thread with an explanation that it's a duplicate, and I linked to this thread in my reply there.
I love the music at Playing For Change, too.
A lot of the lyrics there are in English, but not all the songs are. And if you don't mind listening to songs with the lyrics in another language, you might try listening to this one from a German band, Die Toten Hosen. This was an international hit -- the video has nearly 70 million views -- and it's become my go-to video when I need more energy and need an instant mood lift.
