1. Woo hoo!

I wore that vinyl down on my portable record player.

2. There was one particular song on that album that I loved more than the other

The song still gives me goosebumps.

But it did not appear on American release of that album I don't think. It was later on Something New.

4. The UK album cover is one I remember. My dad was working in radio then,

but I don't recall if it said promo copy, though a lot of the records he brought home did. Might've been an import someone at the station had ordered. I did see some Parlophone labels at times but never paid much attention to what they were on. I no longer have that or most of the records we had then; one of my brothers went through them and took many of them, including all the Beatles albums and singles, when I was living halfway across the country. No idea if he still has any of them.

5. Am I the only one who finds this "remastered" version

decidedly inferior to earlier versions?

The drums are mixed so far down you can barely hear them.
