Die Toten Hosen cover the Clash's "Should I Stay Or Should I Go" (live in Freiburg, 7/23/2022)

My favorite Clash song, covered by the German band that has quickly become one of my favorite bands.

Btw, the second song here is "Eisgekühlter Bommerlunder" or "Ice Cold Bommerlunder." One of their early, weirder hits. Not sure what else to say about this one, other than that after the music video was filmed inside a church, the congregation insisted on it being reconsecrated, lol.

In July 1983, the band signed to EMI, who financed a video for Eisgekühlter Bommerlunder, directed by Wolfgang Büld. It depicts a chaotic wedding ceremony in a small Bavarian church, with Kurt Raab playing an alcoholic priest and Marianne Sägebrecht playing the bride. After the filming the congregation called for the church to be reconsecrated. German public television refused to screen the video for several years for fear of offending churchgoers.[7]

These were the last two songs of a 32-song set.

Oh, and this is the 1983 video for that second song.
