"Sweet Georgia Brown" - the standard for great musical chops

Implant your favorite version of Sweet Georgia Brown.....there's almost 100 years of delightful interpretation out there.

I'll lead (and I have lots more to add).... Sidney Bechet, 1959

5 Black Dudes, 1 White Dude....how cool was that? Sammy Price - probably my most favorite stride piano player - at least on this song....I use his piano solo for my ringtone. Download this gem....there is insanely great chemistry on this video..

On edit: Holy Shit....Avrell Shaw (played bass with Louis Armstrong - I think he was an All-Star)....awesome bass work here....what a jam....

Ben Bernie & His Hotel Roosevelt Orchestra - Sweet Georgia Brown (1925)

In most respects Bechet does take some beating. Thanks for posting.

Inevitable Brother Bones here. Good for dancing actually as is a lot of jug music.
