4. so, i'm working on a couple numbers w the other singers in my band.

the boss knows every damn irish song ever, but the other guy, who hooked me up w these nuts, is a rocker who just plays backup guitar w these guys for the practice.
the boss likes steve earle, in fact knows him from his teaching job, but doesnt play any. doesnt rly know the songs.
other guy loves steve, knows the songs, but doesnt play them.
my 1st choice is- my baby's just as mean as me. the boss hadnt heard it, but liked it. thing is, this man is a doll. a teddy bear. there's no way i can sell this song w him.
he suggested in spite of ourselves, which got an enthusiastic yes from me.
