i got out to see some live music today.
a band of old rockers, the leader of which i last saw in a stinky dive bar in my hometown almost 50 yrs ago. (yeah, hate on fb all you want...)
the crowd was sparse, sadly or wisely, not sure which. a few masks, but not many.
but lordy did i have a good time. turns out after all these years, i'm the one who's pretty and has the moves. lol. dont remember the last time i danced in public.
there's another not quite so old friend who is still out there, doin the grind. has 4 weekly gigs at lovely lil joints out the burbs, in the chain o' lakes. he just might let me do a tune when i show up. used to have a 5 pc band, now a solo act.
