I always thought one thing that contributed to the Beatles success, and made them unique among male rock bands, was their admiration for and willingness to cover "girl groups."

Other of their covers: "Boys" "Keep Your Hands Off My Baby," "Soldier of Love" and I'm sure there are other examples as well.
