Heroes is the song that kicks in at the triumphant climax.
So, I just heard the original version on Wednesday.

(65,159 posts)...when my wife & I saw the Glass Spider tour, with Reeves Gabriel's on guitar. It was fantastic.
Reeves is such a great player. A master of coaxing whatever sound that fits out of a guitar.

He can't quite replace Porl Thompson for me in The Cure though

I think the music needs to have more grit & edge for his greatest contribution to take place.
Though I think he could do some great stuff on Disintegration. That seems right up his alley, if Robert freed him up.
