until a few years ago when I stopped buying music altogether. I have not heard any new stuff in a few years, I need to fix that.



He is a writing machine and his performances are amazing.

Did you see the Roger Waters "The Wall" at The Wall when it came down? It is on video...Van sings Comfortably Numb.

2. Saw him, up close at either the Purple Onion or the Black Rose in Beantown....back in the late 70's.

4. Have seen this video a lot....Probably during the collapse of the Soviet Union

I just realized that Levon Helm, Rick Danko, and Robbie Robertson were his audio stage mates. Just a truely powerful piece of music.
