(41 posts)I love this performance. Just him and his brooding song, and what a song! He moves me, man!
Strangely enough, I just watched Cream's 2005 reunion version (at Royal Albert Hall) of I'm So Glad, and it was marvelous. I would love to listen to a production involving Young and Clapton.
Am I foolish to expect a production involving Young, Stills, Clapton, and Baker?

(33,643 posts)Ginger's a 79 year old drummer ... and I don't think he's cared for himself like, say, Charlie Watts, put it like that. Haven't seen him do anything for a while now, musically.
The other three, though ... yeah ... I could maybe see that, and it'd probably be amazing ...

(41 posts)That is indeed asking for too much. But it may be very interesting, if not lovely, when the other three get together. Derek and the Dominos was a very successful experiment, and earnest. So, there's a precedent for a seemingly unlikely collaboration. But I know I'm dreaming.

And ya gotta love the whole 'full circle' thing, going w/the theme of the song ...
