a terrific writer and artist, and an amazing live performer. I've been a fan of her work for decades - my husband gifted me with a copy of the newly released Horses LP, back in the day - and finally had the chance to see her play live recently... she and the band were on fire! Highly recommend seeing her if you ever have the chance, and also watching this great long form interview about her new book:
