Of photo albums that I hadn't opened in more than a decade (hold on, I do have a point - it's coming).

In the 1st one I opened I saw a pic of my dad back in the early 70s pulling an Album off the shelf.

I recognized it as the Modern Jazz Quartet "Django" & that pic summoned a whole slew of memories that hadn't surfaced in years.

My dad was a big cool jazz fan and when the family Pinochle night was at our house that was the soundtrack.

50 years ago, I didn't care for it, and I largely ignored the genre since. Until I found that pic of dad

I've been on a bit of a jazz exploration since, mostly the artists I remembered from those nights when my aunts and uncles came over to play cards.

Finally, the point arrives.

This record was on the play list and while I listened to that song my house got really dusty, and my obviously low-quality laptop kept going blurry.

Thanks

The vocals and guitar are totally their own thing, but this song is rolling on that same track, I dig it. I'll listen again for sure

Here's Hellbound Train - It takes about 40 seconds for the train to come up to speed, but I think you'll see what I mean
