(65,163 posts)I've always been more heavy handed. When I was a kid, my dad had a really nice Hammond organ, plus we had my grandparent's beat up piano in the basement.
I was attracted to the piano because the harder I hit it the louder it got!
So, while I know how to do dynamics, I never developed it like this kid has.

(65,163 posts)No interest in performing any longer, but I still record for my own entertainment.
Not only am I 66 and don't want to do gigs that get me home at 4 in the morning, but I've done over 2,000 paid gigs. That's enough.

(7,027 posts)I hope your friends and family still get to hear your playing now and then.
What platform do you use for recording/editing?

(65,163 posts)24 track Tascam hard drive recorder. 48.4kHz, 16 bit.
It's for home recording because I can't record more than 8 tracks at a time. But, it's easy to navigate & has nice internal FX for mix down.
Here's an example of my work. It's not classical, for sure.
