I've always been more heavy handed. When I was a kid, my dad had a really nice Hammond organ, plus we had my grandparent's beat up piano in the basement.
I was attracted to the piano because the harder I hit it the louder it got!
So, while I know how to do dynamics, I never developed it like this kid has.

No interest in performing any longer, but I still record for my own entertainment.
Not only am I 66 and don't want to do gigs that get me home at 4 in the morning, but I've done over 2,000 paid gigs. That's enough.

I hope your friends and family still get to hear your playing now and then.

What platform do you use for recording/editing?

24 track Tascam hard drive recorder. 48.4kHz, 16 bit.
It's for home recording because I can't record more than 8 tracks at a time. But, it's easy to navigate & has nice internal FX for mix down.
Here's an example of my work. It's not classical, for sure.
