Jobriath A.D. - Glam Rock's Lost God (Official Trailer)

Here's a documentary I found about another musician in the long list of those who the general public was not ready for (alongside The Plasmatics, Klaus Noomi, The Stooges, etc.). He was the first rock star to come out of the closet.

For anyone dismissing the entire state of Alabama as hopelessly homophobic, then explain this:

Yet that's not to say there was no Southern connection to the Jobriath story. His Sept. 20, 1974, concert at the University of Alabama's Morgan Hall still is remembered as one of the greatest local performances ever.

It resulted in four thunderous encores and literally set the building on fire.
