i was using a 500mm prime so i couldn't move back without scaring the monkey. i should have gone vertical (portrait) with the camera but i hate shooting like that. it's best not to chop off hands and feet....i used to do it all the time and it didn't bother me....until it did....and now it's like fingernails on a chalkboard, esp when i see a pro do it.
also, i was shooting hand held and i don't have the steadiest of hands so i was using a SS of 1/800 in moderate to low light so the ISO was 4500. the D850 is pretty good in low light for having such a tight pixel pitch but in this case, there was too much noise for me:
