(3,328 posts)This little arc is stunning, the texture of the moons surface has topographical features, that make it very present, almost palpable. Thank you, Peggy, for sharing it.

(149,635 posts)That is very kind of you.
I wanted to show the craters in higher relief than I had before, and this exposure allowed me to do that. It looks gritty to me, maybe even the way the moon's surface really is.
Sharing my work means a lot to me. Thank you again.

(967 posts)The photo is razor sharp and crystal clear.
Did you ever notice that in cartoon drawings the horns are almost pointing straight down as if the sun was up in the night sky.
Thank you for posting.

(149,635 posts)You wouldn't believe how much effort I put into making the moon photos sharp and crystal clear!
My hands tend to shake, and though there are techniques to compensate for that, it still takes knowing just what to do to avoid the shake problem.
Therefore, I really appreciate your critique!
I hadn't actually noticed which way the horns point in cartoon drawings. I tend to be gazing somewhere else!
I am happy to post; and thank you for your comments!
