Of itself with just a bit of reflection
Together, it's a nice blast from the past
Caught reflecting times that have passed

(12,394 posts)a picture of sunset on a Subbie?
So I click it. The colors are wonderful.
Then I go back and loot at the title --- above it, I see, George McGovern.
Now, if I had spotted the name first, the question of "What da fuck..." would never have come up.
George never posts a mediocre photo.

(14,559 posts)A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma (Thanks for that mental imagery, Mr.Churchill).
I for one don't see them often enough and should spend more time paying attention.
Great shot George!

(20,253 posts)Now you know details. Will this not be the highlight of your Saturday? 🤭 😉
Whut on earth has come over me...
"Sometimes we stumble upon a path that looks plain: pounded earth, tall trees, and repetitive stones that litter the edges seem to be all there is to it. But then, shadows and light filter through the swaying trees, illuminating colorful florals, revealing twists in the path, and turning dew-covered leaves into prismatic gems, showing off the hidden potential for more beauty in the nature that surrounds us. Hidden Potential nail polish starts with a warm violet hue that shows off a strong bronze to golden green shimmer in direct lighting. In indirect lighting, this polish truly comes to life, showing off a rainbow of hidden colors. Going from a warm, nearly red copper, to burnt orange to gold, Hidden Potential then shifts easily into hues of green, blue, and navy - even purple pops out depending on the angle and lighting! This is a truly unique polish in our lineup with its drastically different personalities expressed based on changes in lighting and angles."

(5,420 posts)Hello Allan:
Thank you for contacting Subaru of America, with this photo of the sky reflecting on the window of your 2008 Subaru Outback.
We appreciate you thinking of us and sharing your idea. I am sorry as we are unable to accept advertising ideas due to the many legal ramifications involved. We work very closely with our marketing partners to develop our advertising campaigns.
Thanks again for taking the time to contact us.

(32,015 posts)I have often thought of trying to capture a sky in a car window, but yours is much better than anything I got here. Those colors . Just jaw dropping. Like a drawing in pastel crayon. I love it.
