So texture-y. Fab color in the last one. I spy a little owl face in the second one.

I like the surface sheen in the first one and the last one is pretty, like it could be an art piece on a wall in large.

I'm curious. I hadn't heard of that company before. Which model of macro lens are you using?
They seem quite reasonable and you get good results. I might be interested in picking one up.

I just attached it to my Oly 40~150 telephoto and zoomed all the way out. Gonna have some fun.

I think Amazon sells them.

Does anyone worry about their camera and lens serial numbers being given away to the universe?

I suppose in a way it's theft protection. You don't even have to give the cops and insurance company serial numbers; they're out there.

Still, it makes me a bit nervous, and I scrub EXIF when I remember to do so.

I use ImageOptim.app on macs to clean out EXIF.

Over cautious?
Can one be over-cautious?

What if someone reports the number as stolen (as a rotten prank)?
It's like car rentals being reported as stolen.

I don't read photography forums. Mostly Hacker News, where all kinds of disturbing news gets posted.

@nypost
The New York Post has been hacked. We are currently investigating the cause.

AND crazy $hit like face recognition for cattle.

With Cattle ID, producers can upload, share, and request Information about the animals they buy/sell.

Maybe Facebook and twitter can sign up cattle and claim lots of new users. I dunno.
