California Rainbow (Blue Wave starts here!)

Yes, it rained today!
Taken with a 14-30mm. Zoom lens. It is out of this world wonderful.

This is reduced from the original screensnap. Lightly edited. I had left the light source set to "cloudy" and that made the late afternoon lighting too warm, so I cooled off the color temperature a bit.

https://postimg.cc/XZG4KtzP will take you to the 1.9MB snap I uploaded.
(I don't think you can accidentally delete the image)
So why is this 126K?
I think that postimage, imgbb, and perhaps smugmug are shrinking (some?) images for posting, even when you ask not to scale them.
At least I found this workaround. (SO YOU CAN ENJOY)

There's supposedly gold in the hills, but so far, rainbows are the gaudiest things I've found. usonian Nov 2022 #2

Got to be grateful for small things, and a few large ones, like this.

Minding my business, I saw the sky glow out the window.
Rush for the cameras. I know what that means after rain.

For years, I used only the Coolpix, which stretched to 24mm equivalent, and the only thing that bothered me was that rainbows would have to be stitched. When I went mirrorless, not only were rainbows doable, but the perspective I get --- from 14mm now -- is fantastic.

I'll share some recent sunsets (yes, these things all require clouds and we had none all summer long -- raining now). I did some computer and network updates here, so there will be a new workflow, including raw processing software (which required the software updates)
