Normally we dont get a lot of fall colors buy every 5 years or so they seem to pop

What sort of lens do you use to get the second photo? Some sort of fish-eye?
Whatever lens you use, the results are magnificent.

(2,410 posts)I use a piece of software called PTGUI that turns the panoramic into a "tiny planet" . it can be done in photoshop instead but i find PTGUI does it better and easier

so, you're from chicago but you live in austin?
i left chicago in 1990 and moved to austin in 1994. the DU austin crowd would get together every once in a while for a few brews back in the early 2000s.
