According to WaPo, the best time is between 10pm and 2am to see the meteor shower. Some of us may want to drag our camera's and tripods out and see if we can't capture mother nature giving us a show.

(46,436 posts)It's probably going to be cloudy here tonight, but if it clears up, I might check it out. That's 6 pm to 10 pm for us, so not too late.

(14,040 posts)Basically, once it's dark you're supposed to be able to look up at the sky and see a meteor shower. I've been outside about a half hour now, trying to get my camera settings correct and I haven't seen a shower yet. Course, I live right outside DC, so there's lots of light pollution.
