My 2012 retrospective
Inspired by regnaD, I've pulled together a retrospective of 2012 shots that I don't think I've posted before. I recently purchased a 3 terabyte hard drive, so since New Year's, I've transferred all my 2012 pictures from the DVDs onto the hard drive and have organized them by topics and months/days within the topic so all I had to do was type "search 10-2012" and all my October pictures come up, separated out into their individual categories by date - family, trips, Anchorage (with subcategories), etc. I've never known myself to be so organized, but I think I like it. I'm not going to go to the trouble with older photos, but going forward this is the way it will be. Even my Virgo husband should be impressed.
Anyway...

For anyone with a lot of time on their hands who is curious, I did manage to post a photo a day at my SmugMug website, if you want to check them out. http://northernvisions.smugmug.com/Photography/Photo-of-the-Day-2012/20848795_7q3NdL#!i=1655118144&k=qNvwX8Z I haven't decided if I'm going to do that again this year, but I've got January 1st and 2nd covered anyway if I decide to.
