Early morning sunlight

I had been out on my front porch--watching the dawn and colors change in the sky--

from this

to this

and came inside to see out back this gorgeous golden early morning light on the trees contrasted with the bright green of new grass around the pond, wild dogwood in bloom, and a darkened, cloudy sky. The gold was gone in minutes.

look at such beauty! Hope you'll have some pics of the eclipse on Monday - if you're in the path of it. We are, here in western NY, and I can't wait to see a total eclipse in person for the first time in my life. I'm going to try to take photos following the suggestions from pros online, but I don't want to miss one second of it. Thanks for the beauty to behold this morning!
