February prelims are up in GD

We ended up with 27 entries, so that's three polls of nine each. I tried hard to arrange them randomly, so I hope it's fair.

I want to thank everyone in the Photography Forum for giving me the opportunity to host this month's contest and hope it goes well. The responses to the February theme were remarkable, and reinforces my belief that the talent found here is truly boundless.

If anyone finds a problem or mistake in the polls, please let me know here. This is my first experience with posting a DU poll ever, so I have my fears that I may have overlooked something.

I pushed it through today because there's talk of the quarterly season contest beginning this week before the snow melts. If your prospective entry looks icy cold, you can always enter it there.

Am visiting in NY and couldn't figure out how to upload photos from my iPhone camera roll to my photobucket acct. This is the first contest I've missed in years.

10. Finals will be up before the Sun on Friday.

I gave it one more day so final voting will continue through Sunday when many more DUers are home on the computer. Bragging rights will begin Monday morning.

Since polling is over on the prelims, there's no reason to bump anymore.

I can't wait to see how "Fur Elise" fares in the stretch. It's one of the most impactive and artistic images I've seen, but the competion is considerable. It should be a interesting contest.
