I really love doing night shots. Its a lot of fun to play with the lens and the exposure to see what you can capture. Had to take this one from a rock, I need to keep my tripod in my car from now on

I was going to ask "how did you do it?"
I'm thrilled - and I can tell you are too. This is what AWESOME was coined for.

I still have a lot of technicals I'd like to improve on, but as the saying goes we all our own worst critics. Who knows, maybe one day I'll submit an entry in the contests

The technicals are:

Nikon D90
ISO 200
18mm
f5
10 second exposure

Lens: AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G (not bad for a kit lens).

there is no more perfect time than right now.
Send me your photo in a pm. As discussed, with a title, and no larger than 800 pixels largest size.
There are 6 more spots as I type.

There was a time when I was in the city once or twice a year and even considered going to school there. But life has a way of steering us in a different direction.

It's one of those cities that has so much to offer. I feel very fortunate to have landed here.
