I am in an odd place in my life and do not connect with a community but as a citizen of the United States I stand in awe of what can be done in communities... I cannot even put into words sometimes- the emotion when I see people in many places and positions and way of being...
I make soup and take it to the Occupy sites and I take photos and I contribute what I can... we so desperately need each other and need to help and support each other...
I am always humbled by the good people I take photos of

Not these.
I'm impressed. You went in tight and captured the faces and there are others where you put some thought into your composition. There is so much emotion in these photos. That's difficult for the very best of photographers to do. That last photo should be in print. It is a powerful image that tells a story. A sad story but a pic narrative none the less.
