Related: About this forumCooper's Hawk on Fence Rail
Stopped by the other day long enough for me to get a couple of shots through the window with my phone. I recently started filling my bird feeders again and I think that's the attraction.
Couldn't help but think of elleng when I saw it.

please be careful for the other birds visiting your feeders.

The smaller birds are quite canny about the hawks in the area. We have some big red tailed hawks, too.
I also have seen this particular Cooper's perched on a trellis in the front of my yard. I think it's been eyeballing a rabbit that's been eating a holly.
