I went to the Shark Reef Aquarium today...

...it's at Mandalay Bay and it's amazing. I soon discovered that taking photos of moving fish through 3/4" thick plexiglass and in low light isn't all that easy. But there are a couple of good(ish) ones, and some that are too amusing not to share:

Two sharks swimming... yes I know they're blurry, I choose to think of it as capturing the sense of motion They do look a bit like airplanes though don't they:



A couple of lion fish. It's not as sharply focused as I would like, but I did like the watery / water color effect:



One lion fish:



Was trying to capture an image of a swimming shark, instead I got a good image of some of the other folks there, reflected in the plexiglass, with a ghostly image of the shark swimming by:



The Komodo Dragon woke up and graced us with a pose:

...I had accidentally left my glasses in the car, so I couldn't see well enough to adjust the camera settings either. Oh well, I had a great time and saw some awesome sea creatures. It's a great aquarium!
