Horsie Saturday -- Last week Maddie and Pete were just hanging out together.

And then it snowed.
Maddie maybe thinking "Hey, what's this falling on my delicate back?"

Maddie's never really been thrilled about being blanketed.

She used to make Mommy chase her around, but this time Maddie was better. She settled pretty quickly.

Pete looked on. For himself Pete has NEVER taken to the blanket. Didn't take Mom long to realize that's simply his choice. Besides Pete does grow a good and fluffy winter coat. But the least he could do was try to offer advice.

Laurie checked Pete's grain bucket before going on to the next chore.

So Pete started in on his hay while Maddie contemplated her next move.

"What the hey, let's go eat hay."

Pete went back to his bucket. And they lived to graze another day.

But we just couldn't leave without revealing "The Ultimate Paddock Poop Pile Shot".
