(2,209 posts)I would never be able to resist buying some of those pastries. I have a sweet tooth that cannot be denied and my mouth is watering just looking at the photos!
I would also have to get some flowers too (and hide them from my cats). Thank you, CaliforniaPeggy, for these latest wonderful pictures!

(15,321 posts)It's nice to see the colorful blooms/flowers, as we're experiencing frigid temps right not. And of course the pastries are making my tummy rumble - it's getting close to supper time! hahahahahha

(156,207 posts)That's it! Pastries for supper! If only we could.
The flowers were especially beautiful today, I thought.

(100,356 posts)I know that if I went to that market, I probably wouldn't get past the bakery booth!
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,207 posts)I hear you about getting past the pastries! Luckily, I buy the quiche for our breakfasts every week so I can drool and sigh over all the other stuff.
The few pastries that we've had have always been extraordinary.

(39,897 posts)First photo, WOW. Makes me drool!
Are those skulls real?
CaliforniaPeggy
(156,207 posts)Yes, the pastries are sooooooooo good!
Yes, the skulls are very real. The bigger one is, I believe, a round-headed dolphin. The smaller one is probably a seal.
I don't remember what the booth was about; once I saw the skulls, I had to photograph them!
So glad you enjoyed!

(25,684 posts)Im happy for the beautiful flowers and fruits for our DUers who are snowed under and need a break. Always a pleasure to go to the farmers market with you..thank you 🌺

(156,207 posts)Knowing that many of my friends here are snowed in really motivates me! Not trying to make them envious, but to lighten their mood.
I wish you could actually go the market with me. We'd have a great time!
