It's been about a year since I took any moon photos. I didn't even know if I had the energy to capture this tonight. But I got it.

I couldn't be happier!

I am doing OK. I don't know if you know, but I do have lung cancer; a tumor in my right lung that I will soon be having surgery to remove. I will announce this news once I have a surgery date and that will be in GD.

The medication I'm taking to fight the cancer has some unpleasant side effects, which leave me with less energy and drive than I normally have. And this accounts for my reduced participation here.

Tonight I felt quite good and the moon cooperated! So I was able to get this photo. I'm pretty tired and my bedtime is near. Pretty sure I'll sleep well!

I am in remission from lung cancer. While I have some shortness of breath, I am doing okay. I hope for the same good results for you.

I expect to be short of breath too, since they're going to take out the whole lobe where the cancer is.

May your news continue to be good.
