I remember seeing some of those when I was adventuring around the Southwest back in the early seventies.
And I like your Robert M. Persig quote! Zen And The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance was a gem, but did you ever read Lila: An Inquiry Into Morals? A dense read! Every comma was fraught with significance!
I don't recall reading Lila: An Inquiry Into Morals, so probably not, and it's been decades since I read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. I often enjoy rereading books more now than I did when I read them years ago, so maybe I should give it another go!
