Blue sky, red rock, and the Green River - Canyonlands National Park, Utah



The Green River was explored by John Wesley Powell in 1869. Powell's expedition started on the Green River in Wyoming, and joined the Colorado River 20 miles downstream of this location, and ultimately made it through the Grand Canyon.

We were able to take a float trip down a few miles of the Green River, just wow!
