crawling on my belly like a reptile again

discovered a surprise, Harefoot Mushroom or Pleated Inkcap, image search could not discern which, in two clusters. again, just being there at the right time scored, one hour later they were all gone,

we are in the middle of a severe drought and few things are flourishing. I was hand watering this particular spot where I planted a couple of Cheif Kubo hibiscus and there they were. not sure if they sprang from the surrounding potting soil or from the potted plant itself.
