Those are very cute pictures!

I like the B&W...it makes the wiry hair detail stand out.

Well done!

I had to go b&w to help minimize some the of distracting clutter in the background.

We call him a "Chorkie."

My wife was out walking our big dog (a beauceron) when she found this guy and his sister abandoned on the street. They were only about 3 months old at the time. We tried to find a home for them for awhile, but ended up too attached to give them up.

His sister is full Chihuahua (we think). I'll post a shot of her in a minute. Her name is Hildegard.

As puppies, they were a bunch more work than we had anticipated (and a lot more destructive around the house). They are almost 2 years old now, so they have calmed down substantially.

There are times when I'm convinced "cuteness" is a survival mechanism.

Observed the same thing with our daughters...

I know what you mean. I had a dog that was obsessed with the tennis ball. He would even sleep on his back with the ball in his mouth!

Our bulldog used to be addicted to tennis balls. He'd make a real slobbery mess out of them, then want you to play fetch. Ew.

The dogs all have these nyla-bones they chew on.

Mordie's is down to about 2" long. He can stick the whole thing into the back of his mouth so that you can't see it. It leaves his mouth jacked open about 3/4", so his little front fangs are exposed.

Then he walks around the house looking like a small, hairy vampire, and making little growling noises.
