Anyone else do photomicrography / micrography?

I have a couple of microscopes- one stereo dissecting scope, 7-45x magnification, and a compound scope with 40-1000x magnification. Both have USB cameras attached for capturing images and video.

I mostly take shots of things I find while checking the diversity in my reef tank.

I also set up some USB microscopes pointed at the tank, and I occasionally catch some interesting shots there.

These microscopes are actually online, if you ever want to check in and see what's going on.. http://rowelab.com/fish/camera/fugecam.php

A friend of mine swore off swimming in the ocean when I showed her some of the plankton I'd found.

there is a soft spot in me for bugs, insects, creatures that share my space... I always said I should have been an entomologist or some such thing

I'm limited in the settings that I can change with a USB camera, even if it is 10mp.

Or is it just me? I was looking forward to seeing them.

Your work is fascinating. The universe that is smaller than us is just as mysterious and wonderful as that which is larger, just more difficult to see. Thanks for showing us just a snippet.

Now I need to add photomicrography to my list of cool stuff to do.
