A few evening shots...

I didn't have a tripod with me so a lot of the shots I'd like to have taken I couldn't but these 3 turned out okay. If you are wondering about the fireworks these are part of our annual celebration of lights festival we have every August. I didn't go down to the beach where they were actually occurring because every year about 400,000 people gather there and, yeah that's just too crazy for me.

These are wonderful!

The first one, with the silhouetted couple, is gorgeous...

And I really like how you aimed the camera down the railing in the second one...Plus the sky is beautiful.

And the fireworks! I love the texture...

Thank you.

You have a gift, and you are growing.

I like to think I'm growing, it's hard to tell but when I look back I can tell the frequency of "good" shots I'm getting IS increasing over a couple of years ago so that's good. Thanks again!

I was looking back over some of my older photographs last night and was surprised at how dissatisfied I was with some of those shots that I thought were pretty good at the time. Practice makes perfect -- or better, at least. I really like the first shot here.
