Looks like it. There are lakes similar to this about an hours drive away but nothing right close by, though there's always the ocean.

Do people swim in this lake? Looks nice.

I put my Kayak on the truck and launch it 10 min. later. Swimming is not allowed, though last week I saw some 20 somethings jump off an old railroad trestle with happy yee-haws and swim to their boat. This photo takes us under the interstate.

I know what it's like to have nature right close by. There's lots of opportunity for that kind of thing here to, though more of it is ocean or river kayaking.
