It wasn't quite the golden hour, but it was close enough to warm everything. The colors really popped.

The first house is one of my favorites. I nearly moved into it about 30 years ago. That last image is the garden at the John Hunt Morgan house.

The image of his memorial was a target of pranksters for decades. The horses balls were painted in various "Fall" colors and sometimes dayglo. The memorial is a few yards away from the old slave market. It is now a farmer's market.
