Autumn lingers on in Anchorage -- YEA!!

This is along the 11-mile Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, the crown jewel of Anchorage's 120-mile multi-use trail system. Today it was named one of the Top 10 "Great Public Spaces" by the American Planning Association. I don't know anything about that organization, but I can't argue with their inclusion of this great trail in their list.

We have our particular mile and a half portion of the trail that we usually walk since it's close to our house. Here's a shot from today. The colors right now are amazing.

I love the colors of the land/trees against the blue of the sky.

day after day of it. I think that might be why we're having such brilliant color. Plus, we haven't gotten our usual fall winds yet.
