A funny thing happened on the way to the morning
I got up and found a surprising message from CC that she had appointed me as a host of this group. I think it's temporary. She is taking a trip.
I'm able to pin threads up now and clean house, too. So if you simply continue to be nice to me, there will be no problem.
I noticed the pinned thread by Tindalos, of early December, about where to hold the contests.
Some of those areas at that time considered no longer exist, and I think that thread has lost its relevancy, because I will run the new contest in GD as always, now that we have GD back.
I'm going to unpin it, for those reasons and just because I can. But I'll wait a little while, like a day or so, in case anyone objects. I'll be watching this note to see if there are comments.

Congrats on being a group host. I haven't been around much lately, but it's good to hear the polls are (fingers crossed) coming soon. Hopefully there won't be any more complications once that is settled. After this, I think you should be exempt from hosting contests for a while as you have done an amazing job under adversity already.
