Bear in mind that there are about 15 (just guessing here) different kinds of gulls, but those are definitely seagulls.

saw them in Detroit. I don't know if Ky's population came from the east coast or the Great Lakes.

They are definitely Sea Gulls. They are everywhere there are garbage dumps.
